Kewaskum, Wisconsin, May 15, 2014: Jesse Kremer is one of four candidates for the 59th Assembly District seat that is being vacated by Rep. Dan LeMahieu this fall. The theme of Kremer’s campaign is “Bold Ideas…Conservative Values”. In keeping with that theme, Kremer is sponsoring a unique campaign event on June 13-15. Fashioned after the Gov. Thompson and Gov. Walker Harley rides through the state, this event will be a bicycle ride through the entire 59th Assembly District with the theme “Ride the 59”.

Kremer has stated that he likes the event because it will allow him to make stops throughout the district and meet with constituents along the way in all four counties – Calumet, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, and Washington. On Friday, June 13, the ride will kick off late morning at the South Town Family Restaurant in New Holstein. Stops on the 13th will include the Mount Calvary American Legion Memorial, the Wade House State Park historic site in Greenbush, and the Dundee Mill Pond Park behind the Hamburger Haus on Long Lake. Bikers will be able to camp on the other side of Long Lake on the 14th for some R & R if desired.  On the 15th, bicyclists will begin with a lunch at Scud’s Buds in Eden and follow that up with breaks at King Pin bowling in Campbellsport, Dairy Queen in Kewaskum, Aiden O’Reilly’s Pub in Allenton, and will conclude just south of City Hall on Main Street in Hartford.

Bikers are not required to take pledges for this fundraiser ride, however, if they do decide to solicit donations, Kremer, an Iraq war and Wisconsin National Guard veteran, has vowed to contribute half of all earnings to a local military veteran organization. This year’s donations will be given to the Fisher House in Milwaukee – a facility for military veterans and their families receiving treatment at the Milwaukee VA.

Candidate Jesse Kremer Open Letter To Family Comedy Night Attendees

Fish Sticks and Kremer for Wisconsin
The Future of Our State and Our Nation

Good evening,

I would like to personally thank all of my family, friends, and supporters for making Family Comedy Night a real success.  Our goal was to get the word out about us and our family values and allow us to do something positive for our community and our neighbors.  We succeeded.  The Fish Sticks was an outstanding kid friendly comedy improv group.  With the degradation of morals and values in today’s society, it is extremely difficult to provide wholesome entertainment for our children.

If elected, I intend to continue to promote wholesome, family friendly events throughout our communities.  Although this is not a platform that will win votes, and it did cost a good deal of advertising dollars to get the word out, it is something that I personally believe will help our society as a whole.  Once again, thank you!

Respectfully,
Jesse Kremer
59th Assembly Candidate

Kewaskum, Wisconsin, April 25, 2014: Jesse Kremer, candidate for the 59th Assembly seat, a district that stretches from Hartford to New Holstein, has received the full endorsement of Tim Schmidt, President and CEO of Delta Defense LLC and founder of the US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA). Mr. Schmidt began the company in 2003 as a magazine subscription service, is now the largest concealed carry organization in America, and is a rapidly growing Wisconsin employer.

Tim Schmidt has issued the following statement regarding Kremer, “I support Jesse and his desire to protect and preserve all of our constitutionally guaranteed liberties, including our 2nd Amendment rights.  Jesse understands the meaning of freedom and what true service is.  A month before September 11, Jesse was promoted to the position of captain at an airline in Milwaukee.  Three weeks after the attacks on our nation, he began a family when he married his wife Janet.  In light of these life changing events, Jesse felt compelled to defend his family, his country, and his occupation by joining the Wisconsin National Guard.  Jesse deployed oversees to serve with the first wave of soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  In my honest opinion, I believe that Jesse has been trained and raised with a strong sense of integrity and is a highly ethical individual.  If given the opportunity, Jesse will be a strong conservative legislator and a voice of reason for the people of the 59th Assembly District.”

Wisconsin Employment Opportunities Garnering National Attention

As written by WisconsinFree.com

Those looking for some positive news in the midst of the revelation that the U.S. unemployment rate rose slightly last month need not look much further than Wisconsin, apparently.

While the unemployment rate rose from 6.6% to 6.7%, a survey released by Manpower Group offers a silver lining. Manpower surveyed approximately 18,000 employers in the 100 largest US metropolitan areas, and found that employers across the board plan to increase their payrolls in the second quarter. Manpower followed up the survey with a list of the 15 best cities for job seekers to find employment this upcoming quarter, and Wisconsin made some surprise appearances.

Milwaukee, West Allis, Waukesha, and Madison all appeared in the list, with reported net percentage of employers looking to hire at 20-22%.

Jorge Perez, the senior vice president of Manpower, says the numbers and the survey exemplifies “positive” results.

“This survey is telling a positive story when it comes to hiring,” Perez says. “Employers are telling us they plan to hire, and the predicted pace of hiring has been the same for the last nine months. The fact that employers are holding steady at a modest hiring pace means they are focused on agility. Adding staff at a slow but steady pace gives them the room they need to adapt along the way.”

Positive news for Wisconsinites, indeed!

Kewaskum resident Jesse Kremer launched his campaign for the Republican nomination for the 59th Assembly District in an unusual way Wednesday — with a statement read in his absence.

Paula Becker, vice president of the Common Sense Citizens of Washington County, read the statement written by Kremer after a candidate forum that featured three of the four people running for the West Bend School Board.

In Kremer’s statement, he apologized for being unable to launch his campaign in person because of a job commitment.

Janet Kremer of Kewaskum smiles as she records Jesse Kremer’s announcement being read by Paula Becker during a West Bend School District candidate forum Wednesday at the West Bend Moose Lodge.

Kremer, 37, a graduate of Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, said he “never had political aspirations until it became quite clear that liberty and freedom were rapidly eroding in our country. Our country is very near the point of no return. Many of our government bodies are no longer for the people — they are over the people.”

He pledged that, if elected, he would “not spend a penny of your hard-earned money if it is not an absolute necessity. If we, the people, need to live within our means, then so do our elected officials.”

“Gov. (Scott) Walker and the state Legislature have gotten the jobs ball rolling, we must embrace this momentum wholeheartedly by sending solid, energetic, pro-job conservatives to Madison,” Kremer’s statement read. Kremer, a professional pilot, served in Iraq and is a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Kewaskum Fire Department.

Kremer has also launched a website, www. jesseforwisconsin.com.

Kremer joins Hartford resident Bill Savage, Calumet County Supervisor Ralph Prescott and Mark Brunner of the town of Wayne in seeking the Republican nomination for the 59th Assembly seat held by retiring state Rep. Dan LeMahieu, R-Cascade. The 59th Assembly District includes the towns of Addison and Wayne, the town and village of Kewaskum, most of the town of Barton, and most of the town and city of Hartford, as well as areas of Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.

The Republican primary election will be Aug. 12.

KEWASKUM — Jesse Kremer, 37, of Kewaskum, is throwing his hat in the ring for the 59th Assembly seat. Rep. Dan LeMahieu has announced he is not seeking re-election.

Kremer is a charter pilot, small business entrepreneur, and volunteer firefighter/EMT who resides with his wife and three young girls in the Village of Kewaskum, according to Kremer’s campaign announcement.

He is the second candidate to announce his intention to run for the seat. Earlier this month, Ralph Prescott of Chilton announced his candidacy.

Kremer is a veteran of West Bend’s Wisconsin National Guard 832nd Medical Company. Until a few years ago, he did not have a desire to seek an elected office. He believes strongly, however, that this country is rapidly taking a turn for the worse, according to the release.

“The United States is no longer a government of the people, but a government over the people,” he said. “For whatever reason, because politicians are elected, they feel that taxpayer dollars must be spent, oftentimes for no other reason than because they can.”

Kremer said he is not politically connected or independently wealthy, however, he has a burning desire to be a voice for the 59th District and make a difference in the community. He wants the children of the community and state to continue to grow up with the freedoms and liberties that we are guaranteed, according to his release.

Under Gov. Scott Walker, outgoing Rep. Dan LeMahieu and the current legislature, tough fiscal decisions and pro job policies have been enacted paving the way for Wisconsin to climb out of apathy and head to the top, he said. Now is the time to continue to send young, passionate, common sense citizens to Madison so that Wisconsin will become a beacon of hope to the rest of the country, he said.

Kremer encourages citizens and taxpayers of the 59th District to air their concerns and ideas at jesseforwisconsin.com or facebook.com/JesseForWI. He is pro-life and pro-family, a defender of the Second Amendment and backed by the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), according to his campaign announcement. Kremer said he is pro-jobs and small business, against legalization of marijuana, and vehemently “against the dumbing-down of our students with the federal Common Core educational standards.”

From the University of Madison Daily Cardinal (following a phone interview)

Jesse Kremer announced Monday he will run for the 59th state Assembly seat currently held by state Rep. Dan LeMahieu, R-Cascade, who will not seek re-election in November.

Kremer served in the Wisconsin National Guard and currently volunteers as a firefighter. He also said he is “extremely proud” of his community and wants to make a difference.

“I love to do service,” Kremer said.

Kremer said “ensuring freedom and liberties remain intact” for the people of Wisconsin is one of his priorities if elected.

Kremer said he supports the recent fiscal policies Gov. Scott Walker and the current legislature has enacted in Madison. He also said government should not spend people’s money just because it can.

“We are stewards of the money we are given,” Kremer said.

Kremer said his youth sets him apart from the other candidates. He stressed he is not wealthy nor politically connected but said he understands what the people in his community want.

“I can stand in everybody else’s shoes, I’m not disconnected,” Kremer said.
