Pro-Life Wisconsin Endorses Jesse Kremer, Republican candidate for the 59th Assembly District
Kewaskum, Wisconsin, July 7, 2014: Jesse Kremer, a political newcomer running for outgoing Representative Dan LeMahieu’s seat in the 59th Assembly District, has now been endorsed by both Pro-Life Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Family Action PAC – both strong traditional family and pro-life organizations. Jesse and his wife Janet come from strong Christian families. Jesse’s father, Ren Kremer, was a Wisconsin Synod grade school principal and his mother was also a WELS teacher. Jesse and his family of five attend Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in West Bend. They hold firmly to the Bible as the inspired Word of God and as such, believe that life and death are in God’s hands, not ours.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the real reason that we barbecue and celebrate this July 4th – the true principals that our nation was founded upon and where we have gone as a nation over the past several years. The United States of America would not exist if it were not for brave volunteers who continue to take up arms in defense of our country and our freedoms. As most of us are aware, there have been numerous scandals and travesties brought on by our own federal government over the past several months and years. Justice is not being done for the men and women who raised their right hands in defense of their neighbors, their country, and their convictions. Although I do not consider myself heroic, or even feel that I performed any great deed in Kuwait and Iraq, I did volunteer for service soon after I married Janet, just after we were brutally attacked on 9/11. If elected to serve the citizens and veterans of the 59th Assembly District, I pledge to ensure that our state’s Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) museums, three nursing homes, hallowed grounds and veterans’ benefits are protected and maintained with the utmost care and respect. If you should meet any soldiers or veterans this 4th of July, please applaud them or stand up to shake their hands. Believe me, it really does mean the world to them! Have a blessed and safe Independence Day!

As Taken From the June 3, 2014 Editorials of the West Bend Daily News as a Follow up to a Forum Between the Four Candidates
As a candidate for the 59th Assembly District, I would like to sincerely thank John Callen, president of the Common Sense Citizens of Washington County, for allowing a public forum between four strong conservatives Wednesday night. It was an excellent discussion and a great introduction to the community. I am sure I speak for all of the candidates in mentioning appreciation for all of the folks who the took time on a beautiful spring evening to become informed and ensure that a strong,
energetic conservative with integrity and common sense becomes the next representative for the 59th District in our state capital. The Daily News seemed to be the only media outlet in attendance and deserves credit for bringing real news
to the people of the district and surrounding communities. I would like to clarify one statement that did appear in the coverage of the story, and though I do not fault the writer, one of my complete answers, which actually was quite broad, did get
lost in translation. The forum question basically asked, “What is the No. 1 thing that you would like to change when you get to Madison?” The article mentioned that I would like to see less federal government interference and to cut funding for abortions on state employee health insurance plans. In all fairness, my No. 1 issue was the federal government and its involvement in states’ rights and state autonomy. However, I said that this is a broad issue. I continued to explain that under this umbrella, my goal would be to do anything possible at the state level to usurp Obamacare and, yes, this would include removing the funding of abortions on state employee health insurance plans.
Jesse Kremer, 59th Assembly Candidate, Firefighter, and EMT has garnered the endorsement of the Kewaskum Police Association for his stance on public safety and the blanket legalization of marijuana debate.
Kewaskum, Wisconsin, June 4, 2014: Jesse Kremer, the only candidate in the 59th Assembly District race to have worked in public safety has been endorsed by a police union in the southern part of the district. Kremer, a police academy graduate, volunteer firefighter, fire inspector, and EMT, and a former emergency services dispatcher, has been endorsed by the Kewaskum Police Association (KPA).
The union has issued the following statement regarding candidate Kremer: “Jesse understands the importance of public safety and is willing to tackle a few very important issues. As a firefighter, EMT, and former police and fire dispatcher, Jesse has seen the effects of impaired drivers and overdose patients. Jesse has stated that we already have enough problems with legal alcohol on the roadways and a blanket legalization of marijuana will just add fuel to the fire. Jesse will also do whatever he can to break the massive heroin epidemic that has hit southern Wisconsin in recent years. In addition, Jesse has decided to eventually champion a debate regarding true safety and security in our schools so that we can be an example to the rest of the country. We believe that no matter what issue Jesse Kremer takes on, he will meet with experts from a variety of law enforcement agencies to ensure that appropriate legislation is written to continue to protect public safety personnel and the residents of our communities.”
Jesse Kremer, the only candidate in the 59th Assembly race who has never been involved in politics, continues to make headlines. Kremer released a comprehensive “Blueprint for Education Reform in Wisconsin” on Wednesday evening.
Kewaskum, Wisconsin, May 28, 2014: Jesse Kremer, one of four candidates in the 59th Assembly Republican primary, released a comprehensive “Blueprint for Education Reform in Wisconsin” on Wednesday evening at the Common Sense Citizens of Washington County meeting. Intended as a forum to meet all four candidates, Kremer used the platform to launch his plan and blaze a trail with his campaign slogan “Bold Ideas…Conservative Values.”
The “Blueprint” includes eleven bold ideas to strip education from the clutches of the federal government and set it firmly back in the hands of parents, local school boards, and teachers – individuals who are closest to our children and their needs. Kremer stated that outcome based education and “teaching to the test” began under President Bush with “No Child Left Behind” and continues to plow forward with “Common Core”, a set of federal standards and social experiments designed not by teachers, but by bureaucrats. The “Common Core” standards include cookie cutter teaching methods, teaching to pass tests, and intrusive data collection from our children and families. “It may seem innocent right now, said Kremer, “but New York and Florida are years ahead of us…and New York is screaming to opt out.”
Kremer designed the plan with with the assistance of three experts including Mr. Brian Medved of the Germantown School Board, the only district in the state to abandon Common Core and write their own standards, Ms. Karen Schroeder, President of Advocates for Academic Freedom, and Dr. Duke Pesta, English Professor at UW Oshkosh and Director of FreedomProject Education.
